Geoscience Australia has the mandated authority for determining the Australia’s maritime jurisdiction and the framework for managing marine resources including supporting marine planning: <ul> <li>deliver certainty, stability, predictability and visibility to Australia’s international and domestic boundaries</l> <li>deliver systems that support planning in the maritime jurisdiction</l> <li>support our neighbours in the region to address global priority issues in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)</l> </ul>This presentation (May 2025) will communicate the benefits and progress associated with the digital transformation of maritime boundaries both within Australia, under Australian-led international programs and global influence.
